I like how it is a TUBE and not a flat blanket with a fish tail. You can put your feet all the way into the fins. Fun, super soft and cozy.
5Mostly happy, bigger than other reviews said!I don t know why people say not big enough, I m 5 7 and 130 lbs and it comes up to my chest with my feet in the tail. I was put off bc after opening there is something stiff and nasty on the left side where the pink and orange colors meet. I don t know what it is but it must be a sticky liquid that hardened bc the fabric is stiff! That said, it s big and super soft, I m going to wash it and hope whatever is on the material washes off. Just as soft inside as out. Ito make it fit fright my feet have to be in the fin (which is closed) so the rail doesn t fan out nice like some of the other open finned options but I wanted it to be soft and warm and got both!

My daughter sleeps with it at night and plays with it during the day and she has had it now for about 6 months! It's still in really great shape!
5Love itOrdered for a friends birthday. I was kinda afraid it wouldn't be long enough, as she is a taller girl. It has the fun part where your feet can go into them which gives you more length! I think she is going to love it. Better quality fabric than I was expecting too
5Toasty TailThe mermaid tail blanket is warm and soft. It is easy to put on and remove. I am a plus size lady, and have no trouble fitting into this blanket. It's simply charming! A few of my students use blanket tails at rest time, and I was tickled pink to find them available in adult sizes, as well. Thanks!

4HUGE!!! =)HUGE!!! And so COMFY! Almost fits me and my daughter together! lol I bought the adult sizes for my 5 year olds! maybe should have gone with the kids sizes lol but they were the same price so i figured id go this route. LITERALLY to my chin and Im 5'5"! Love this! so warm too!
5returnedI had high hopes that my daughter would love this as she's in that phase... boy, was I wrong! She says it makes her feel itchy, the softness isn't what I had hoped for for her, either, it's soft but you can tell it's mass produced. It's not very thick, and the "feet"/fins are not very comfortable. I was immediately concerned it would tear if walked on so I made it a strict rule that it was not to be walked in. Even with staying on top of that, it still began to separate from the blanket itself leaving a hole in the seam.
1I love the rainbow ombre oneI love the rainbow ombre one. It does not look nearly as saturated are defined as in the photo (more pastel and slightly faded). However I personally like the softer coloration more. It feels very soft on the outside and mostly that way on the interior. I can see this being really useful when sitting on cold days when it becomes more tricky to cover your feet completely with a normal blanket. Either way my fantasy loving self enjoys letting her inner mystical being shine with this product.
5Dilemna: to go Homegrown or Corporate?It's as snuggly and as charming as you present it, although you exaggerate when you describe it as suitable for adults. It really needs to be wider to support that claim. Also, right after I purchased these, I attended a local craft fair and saw a booth displaying handmade mermaid blankets that were just as charming and only half the price. I'm afraid your high prices may eventually bite you in the butt.
