this happens when it's like 32 days oldLasted about 3 weeks, then just didn't turn on one morning. Called the company, had to call back 4 times after seeming infinite hold music (over 2 hours one time), finally got a person. Their response, "return it to amazon". Of course, this happens when it's like 32 days old, so now Amazon won't take it back.Didn't last, crappy support, buy another product from someone else.On the plus side, was a dream for those 3 weeks.
1Excellent one scoop coffee makerI love this one scoop coffee maker.It is fast and efficient.It is easy to set up for a cup of coffee.The only drawback is that the coffee maker burns out after five to six months due to very hard water with a lot of minerals. We have well water.Cleaning the maker with vinegar as recommended by the manufacturer makes no difference. I read a lot of reviews about this coffee maker on Target's website after the Bella maker burned out the first time after only a month. A lot of the owners of this maker said that their maker burned out right away, or several months later. I took the Bella maker back to Target and they replaced it with a new one. The replacement lasted around six months. I just purchased my current Bella on Amazon for $15.88, and that included prime shipping. A heck of a deal. We just received it yesterday, and it is working great. I paid $20.00 for the first Bella maker at Target.If we pay $16.00 every six months or so for a one scoop maker, we can afford that. We had expensive Keurigs, and they only lasted a year or a little longer.Our hard water caused the expensive machines to burn out too.
5Great little coffee maker.It's a great little coffee maker...and I do mean little! It'll fit a big coffee cup but not a big travel mug which I'm fine with. If you want coffee for a travel mug just fill your travel mug, pour that into the coffee maker and put something smaller and wider under the coffee maker...problem solved. I like that the filter for the coffee grinds is big, you can make your coffee stronger than a k cup can make which is one of the reasons I switched to a classic coffee maker. This thing is fast and it makes the coffee hotter than a k cup maker just remember to turn it off before you open the top to clean the filter or it might puff some steam at you! I got it two days earlier than I was expecting which was a nice surprise.
5One lasted 3 years - one lasted 3 monthsI purchased one of these three years ago and when it recently failed, I was eager to purchase a duplicate -- I would have given this product a 5 Star "I love it" except that this new replacement only lasted until the return date had closed (3/24/2017). It is initially a small price to pay but it should last more than a couple of months.I didn't learn my lesson, I tried again, for a third time and purchased again - May 23, 2017 - quite working 8/9.2017
1Broken out of the box. Short story: junkTook the coffee maker out of the box and one of the tabs for the lid was broken off. Upon first use the hoop which lifts the water arm above the grounds broke as well.Ran a half gallon of water through it and still has an off-taste of plastic.The style and design is there but the price is low because it's made so poorly. If they doubled the price to use quality materials it would be a totally different review.
1works greatI purchased this machine October 2014. It is still running strong March 2017! I use it almost every weekday. I can't calculate how much money I have saved over buying coffee at work cafe for $2 a cup, or coffee shop for more.The permanent filter is starting to show a few tiny tears, so I may have to switch to paper filters, as I don't see a way to buy the permanent filter basket online.
4My morning cup of coffee has never been the sameAfter my coffee pool at work decided to call it quits and our drug dealer took his coffee maker back home I got this as its replacement and my coffee is always the right size and always hot when I want it.No longer am I at the whim of my coworkers watered down muck they call coffee but rather a stronger brew for me to the point I almost started drinking my coffee black.I have only one complaint (while minor) about the craftsmanship of the product. The part that pumps hot water onto the spout is connected to lid via a very flimsy piece of plastic, while its fairly minor, it seems like it will be something that will break off with regular use.The next thing I don't quite have an answer for is, what do i do if/when i ruin the coffee filter. Like it gets a rip? there are no replacements included in the package and I assume the manufacturer expects you to purchase another one. Just be very gentle with it.
5Small but mighty!Brought this into the office today. My coworkers and I are very pleased with this coffee maker. The coffee comes out very hot and not watered down. So far so good. Definitely recommend. Love the compact size.
5good little coffee maker for the priceThe bad: It is slow. If you're used to a keurig or other fast coffee maker, this will drive you insane. Takes about 5 minutes to brew a 14oz cup. It also doesn't have a timer to set it to start when you want it too.The good: It's small. Easy to clean. It gets the coffee VERY HOT. This was an issue with my keurig, it didn't get and stay hot enough. This makes the coffee boiling hot. Love it. It doesn't need a long time to eat up. Turn the power on and it starts (all be it drips slow).So I'm happy with it. I just start the coffee then go get dressed or do something else for a few minutes.
4FlawlessI've been using a one cup coffee maker (different brand) for years. First one broke, second one still going but it never brewed a full cup without leaking water into the cup after filling it so I'd have fill with a partial cup then put more water in after it finished the first round.This showed up as a lightning deal on Prime Day, figured for the price it couldn't hurt to try. And I'm so glad I did, it's been perfect! I can get a full cup to brew the first time and the design is perfect, allowing you to raise the bottom for regular sized coffee cups. And it's attractive enough to not be embarrassed about leaving it on the counter. Also I find it brews faster then my old one and the coffee comes out hotter.Even without the lightning deal, this is still cheaper then the original brand I was using. If you are in the market for a one cup coffee maker, your search should end here! Out of the hundreds of dollars of products I purchased on Prime Day this was the cheapest and most rewarding purchase.
