1 star is 1 too many. NOT... repeat NOT the 'Original' when sold from GoVacuum
The Hoover T Series Factory NOT-Original HEPA Filter is a more appropriate name when purchased from GoVacuum through Amazon. This is a completely cheap knockoff of the filter that comes with the vacuum. It does not 'click' into place, is very loose, and slips out of the slot immediately when the vacuum is turned on. Do NOT buy this from GoVacuum.
1Buyer Beware!! You may not get genuine filter
When the filter arrived it did not look like the picture... it was not labeled as a genuine Hoover part as advertised... instead it looked like a knock-off. But it seemed to work and I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it. After reading other reviews, I decided to contact Amazon. They refunded me the price of the filter. After providing negative feedback on the seller (Total Vac), I was contacted by Total Vac and they are sending me a new genuine filter. Apparently there are 2 ways for a vendor to sell on Amazon. Total Vac sent Amazon generic filters for shipment (these should not have been marketed as genuine). Total Vac also ships directly (these are genuine filters). Total Vac has discontinued sending generic filters to Amazon, but Amazon must still have some in stock. So buyer beware! You may not get what you ordered.
3Great filter for the price. Requires a little more force to install.
They work well once installed, however you do need to somewhat "force" them in to the vacuum to get them in all the way. Once they do click in they work as well as the factory filter, but at a MUCH lower price. The color is a little off from the original filter, but it isn't important. Don't notice any loss in suction or excess dust in the air.

Super stoked to find a 2-pack at such a great price. We have 2 WindTunnel vacuums that were inappropriately overdue for a HEPA filter change. Haven't vacuumed quite yet with the replacements but they both snapped in like they came from the factory. Super happy to have found these!
5LIKE OEM but NOT OEM!
As others pointed out, this is NOT the Original HEPA filter... The design is OK at best as it does mimic the original however it is crudely out of tolerance. Also, the wording on the front, indicating it is original from HOOVER is not there. It is not even the same black in color plastic shell. Case in point, sliding the tray into the spot, it does not secure snug at all. A slight bump of the vacuum cleaner knocked it out of the spot where as the original does not do this at all. Also, the filter design is slight different, however, in my opinion, is better. The carbon filter position is not a thin layer like in the original, it is a thicker separate piece which is better. With some tape or slight modifications, I think it will stay in with no problems.There is a tad bit more air that escapes from the filter too... but nothing as dramatic as some of the reviews already posted. I need a filter and this shipped faster than Hoover's website (and cheaper) so I will not be bothering with the return.
3Seller said Amazon sent me a generic filter
From the picture and the title "Hoover T Series Factory Original HEPA Filter", I thought I was getting an original Hoover-made filter exactly like the one that came with my vacuum. That is not what I received. As you can see in the picture, the original filter has two side vents. The one I received has one big vent, right up front and center, where the air coming out blows all the dirt away before the vacuum can suck it up! When I ordered this part, I was already aware of this problem from another filter I had purchased so I was trying to be sure to get one that vents to the sides.Update: TotalVac contacted me and said that Amazon sent me a generic filter. TotalVac then sent me the correct OEM filter as pictured. I'm raising my rating from 1 star to 4. If I had gotten the filter I thought I was ordering the first time I would have given 5 stars.Another update: Having received the OEM filter, I noticed that the indentations that I assumed were side vents are not openings at all. They are closed. I'm not sure where the vacuum is supposed to vent, but at least it is not venting out the front and blowing the dirt ahead of the vacuum.
4Part NOT THE SAME as Hoover part it is supposed to replace!
DON'T BUY THIS FILTER AS A REPLACEMENT FOR THE HOOVER BRAND HEPA FILTER!!!!!The Hoover Windtunnel T-Series HEPA Rewind filter that I wanted to replace was a well-fitting piece that ultra-filters the dust/dirt particles that are sucked into the vacuum. The filter that was made by Crucial Vacuum DOES NOT match this part.1. The part does not look like the brand name Hoover HEPA filter.2. Tthe part DOES NOT HAVE A TIGHT FIT with the vacuum AND3. There is a gap/whole in the front of the replacement filter which allows air to flow through the filter and out of the front of the vacuum - thereby allowing air exhausting from the vacuum to blow the floor dust and dirt that are in front of the vacuum away from the vacuum as you are using the vacuum to suck it up. In order to pick the dust and dirt on the floor with my vacuum with this replacement filter I have to pull the vacuum backwards because if I push the vacuum forwards - all of the dust and dirt are blown across the room.4. FINALLLY, without the filter being fully enclosed- the noise level is 4x louder than with the brand name Hoover filter.I thought I would be saving money when I bought this Crucial Vacuum filter for $7.00 instead of the brand name part for $19.00. That was a big mistake. It takes 3x longer to clean the same space and I can guarantee that the dust has now been blown all over my furniture because of the design flaw/gap in the replacement filter.If it did not cost so much to return the filters, I would do it in a heartbeat.
1Piece of Crap
This product is NOT what is shown in the photo. Instead, it is a poorly-made generic filter that doesn't even fit properly in the vacuum. I had to put cellophane tape on the sides for it to stay in long enough to even try it, and when I tried it, it was absolute garbage. THIS IS A BAIT-AND-SWITCH PRODUCT. If I could give it zero stars I would. I will be filing a complaint, because the description clearly states that this is a Hoover Original HEPA filter.Update: I have filled out a return form, and have packaged this piece of crap for pickup. NOw I have to find a REAL replacement filter somewhere.
1good price, fast shipping working well
My son cleans our church with the church owned Hoover. We discovered the Hoover had been badly neglected. I was very pleased to find replacement filters on Amazon at good prices. This came very quickly and now the vacuum is working properly. ONe thing, this item's fit was a bit shaky, even tho its the proper part. Have to make sure its firmly seated in its place and check frequently - a bit annoying. That may be why the Hoover was working poorly when we first started using it & why the original part was damaged. Hence 4 stars.
4more good than bad
This was a replacement to the original filter that came with my Hoover Windtunnel T. Unlike the original, this came with an additional black filter component on the bottom of it, which is a good thing. The filter itself is a paper/cardboard filter and not very durable. Having the black filter on the bottom protects the actual filter from some of the air pressure generated and makes it last longer. However, the airflow resistance makes it possible for the filter to fall out from the pressure. I had to get creative with a way to hold the filter to the actual vacuum.
