Exceeded my expectations!
I've wanted one of these for over 10 years and I'm very pleased with this globe bar! It arrived very well packaged; even though the box was damaged during delivery, everything inside was perfectly fine. Assembly was extremely simple (took maybe 10 minutes by myself) and the assembled piece is very sturdy. The globe looks really awesome; I've read complaints that the map doesn't line up properly, but mine looks great. I'm also pleasantly surprised by how much it holds. I fit 10 white wine glasses and 2 red wine goblets inside, plus several bottles of scotch (and there's room for more). The bottom shelf fits at least 12 bottles of alcohol. Great addition to my home!
5Purchased as Gift
I bought this for my boyfriend who just bought a house. His living room has a "speak easy" theme. I bought this thinking it would be a nice addition. It looks nice from afar. The table is wobbly and the set itself is not that sturdy. Up close, the design and paintings look quite cheap. The globe does not close properly and you have to lift it a certain way to get it to work. For a decorative piece, its just ok. But as a functional piece for someone who is going to use it alot or entertain guest I would spend more money and get a better piece.

I was afraid the quality might be crap, but I was very pleased. It was well packed and easy to assemble and it looks beautiful in my living room and holds a ton of bottles and glasses. I absolutely love it!
5Impressive look
fairly easy to put together...Looks very cool..Like other reviews say it isn't an exact rendering....it would've been interesting to look at if it were accurate but then i would hv rolled it where its at and loaded with liquor and glasses and prob never noticed again...if u want a globe get something else...if u want a cool liquor cabinet the looks like a globe this is a good one...I got it on sale under a 100..It is worth it at that price...u won't get a lot of bottles inside there but for me it was enuf. You can store more outside on bottom shelf..Some cool glasswear added makes it pretty impressive opened up
4Classy globe bar for any young adult
So I bought this on sale about half off. First off holy crap this global bar is amazing! Secondly I can't believe how cool it is for how cheap I bought it. Everyone that comes over compliments it and thinks its awesome. So far I've only put a few bottles in it, but I feel like I'll be able to put around 10 bottles in or on it. Yes the map isn't perfect and yes the material is basic, but what does anyone expect for a globe bar that is less that $500.
5Beautiful and well made.
I knew this globe was a risk after researching a lot before buying. (Basically all of these have some really awful reviews because sometimes it arrives poorly made, broken, etc.) I'm glad I chose this one. It is absolutely beautiful and arrived fine. The decals for the design have some spots where they overlap but nothing bad enough to warrant complaint. It holds a lot and is very sturdy. I do wish is was less yellow and more of a neutral tobacco/tea stain color. The brightness makes it look less 'authentic'. It looks good in a library because it is in less natural light but I wouldn't keep it by a window. It's absolutely full of bottles and glasses but still rolls nicely.
4Gorgeous in any room
This is a unique piece of furniture that accents any room. I love that it functions like a bar but also is beautiful to look at. It s not hand carved or anything, but it is sturdy enough for what it s made for. I ve moved it a few times (it has rollers and I have wood floors) because it easily fits in any corner or next to any furniture, but it is a substantial size.
5As advertised but a bit disappointed
As several reviews have noted this item is quite easy to put together - roughly 10 minutes. It does what it is meant to do which is house liquor. Several reviews noted the subpar quality and the map alignment issues so I am not complaining about those since I knew the risks going in. The key reason I am disappointed is with the height of the item. I'm 6'1 so right around average height for a guy and this unit is crazy small/short. I was shocked at how small this unit looks when it is all assembled and racked with bottles. Not a deal breaker but this should help readers understand what to expect.
3Globe comes ready-finished, making this the "globe-bar" to buy.
I admit I was worried about buying this. There are a lot of these globe-bars for sale, and several reviews complained about having to put the map-decals on the globe yourself and it s impossible to line them up correctly , etc, and I could see this winding up a big mess. But lo and behold, this globe comes ready finished and looks great. Putting the stand together is a snap and requires only a screwdriver. At this price don t expect real mahogany, but it s sturdier than I expected, and I am very happy with my purchase. I expect you will be too.
5Awesome living room decor
Just got it today and put it together. Instructions not that detailed but the pictures for instructions show exactly where all the parts and hardware go. Looks good in our living room. Too early to tell about the durability but seems solid. Will update if I find somethings I see wrong.
