Got as a gift for a friend's husband. He was making a tikki bar and I knew this would be right up his alley. Very surprised it was so sturdy when it got here. It even survived another shipping to my friend's home. Mine said ladies got laided on it. Some reviews said theirs didn't. It's a great retro sign and made to last.
5Sign is awesome!!! The shipping... not so much!
I just want to let people know (in case they are thinking otherwise) that this isn't an old, vintage sign. It's a new sign that looks like an old sign. I bought it as a Christmas gift for my 21-year-old brother. I'm happy with the item (since my brother is happy), but not so much with the shipping. I placed the order at 11 P.M. on 12/27/11, selected 1-day shipping, and received the item on 12-30-11. I paid $50 extra dollars to have this item and 2 other items by the seller sent 1-day. I knew they weren't going to be preparing my items for shipment at 11 P.M., so I knew it wouldn't be shipped out until the next day. I should have received the item on 12-29-11, and for $50 I really should have... $50 for 2-day shipping? I wouldn't have paid that had I known. The 3 items I ordered came to a total of $21 and the shipping was $50!!! That is absolutely ridiculous! And I didn't even receive the items within 1 day. My recommendation: The items were great, and as expected, but I wouldn't do the 1-day shipping if you are expecting to get it within 1 day.
5haha! I should have read it closer
not that I regret buying it but on wednesdays women leied free. I thought it said women "drink" free. what can I say? I was in a rush when I bought it and my mind read what it wanted to read. sign looks cool and weathered. perfect for the new Tiki bar. will post pics later so you will be green with envy and stop by for a drink.
5Cute retro tiki sign
Purchased as a gift for a retro tiki hut lover, she loved it and even her husband liked the design. It came undamaged, packaged efficiently, and I was glad to find the metal was more sturdy than expected. Because it's such a lovely sign she hangs it indoors for poor weather. A great find and present.

5Bring it inside in the fall and winter months
ok, so even though this thing faded and rusted in 6 month of hanging on my deck outside near the pool, looks like I am buying them again. When I say them, its because I bought about 8 similar signs for fun adult signage around my pool. Mostly purchased from Ohio Wholesale for approx. 10 Bucks, I guess its worth having the laughs in the summer months and having to buy them again... unless of course they are going to start putting a guarantee on a piece of tin.
3A nice addition to the beer patio
A nice addition to the beer patio. My only complaint about these reproduction signs is a minor one. They "print" the weathering on there. I don't know how else they could do it so its just a minor thing. Up close it looks a little inauthentic but most of the time we're seeing it through beer goggles anyhow so no big deal.
