The trazos are uniform and soft. The ink is quite black. Latapa seems to seal the tip very well.I still do not know what durability or useful life time they have but I will update this revision as soon as I finish with one of them.In the image you can see the lines it allows to do. From the thinnest to the thickest. 5Works pretty well for the most partWhen I first got these markers, I loved them. I don't use them on a really regular basis, but I use at least one every day to jot a couple of notes down on a black marker board I have at work. I keep them stored upside down, like you're supposed to. When I use one, it works great at first, and then it gets lighter and lighter as I write. If I put the marker down for a while and then pick it back up, same thing happens. It works great for a while, and then the color starts to fade as I write. They work for what I use them for, but if you plan on doing a lot of writing with them at one time, I don't know that they'd be the best buy for you. 3Teacher approved, long lastingAs a teacher, I prefer bullet tip expo markers. Chisel or slanted edge markers use more ink and dry up quickly. These last longer but unfortunately my school only provides the other type. If you follow the directions and store HORIZONTALLY (not vertically!) they'll last 2x longer. 5Works Great!I use these at my business to draw our specials on our windows and mirrors and they are perfect!!!! 5Works for Me!As a college student taking several science classes, I've found that one of the best ways to study things like chemistry mechanisms, biological pathways, and physics problems is writing eveywhere, including windows.I have a large picture window in my study area that I roll a chair to and just start working problems. This helps me with two things: it's different from the sit-at-desk-and-be-studious approach, and it keeps me from being too much of a perfectionist it'll just be erased anyway. I find this helps me stay focused on the important stuff. My problem was that once it got to be around dusk-ish it was difficult to see my own writing. These markers were the absolutely perfect solution. The bright neon colors were visible deep into late night study sessions. The ink flows well, even when kept semi-horizontal, and stays in place when slightly wipe, keeping the bottom half of my mechanism intact while I add to the top.The colors, too are very versatile with little inconsistency between the colors. They are all brilliant, with only a little fading over time (and I'm talking months). The only issue I have with these markers is their resistance to erasure. They come off clean, but places with slightly more ink deposited may take more elbow grease than a regular dry-erade marker. To me, this is both a pro and a con. It means that I won't accidentally brush away anything important, but it also means it takes me a few more seconds to go from full board er, window to clean.Overall, the pros far out weigh the cons, and I use these all the time. They're great. 4Good for the priceThese markers are pretty good for the price. The expo neons are written on the left hand side of the board and an odd brand neon dry erase marker set I bought from five below is written on the right side for comparison. As you can see, the Expo is significantly more pigmented and actually shows up on the board. It also erases nicely compared to the off brand. The green and yellow colors aren t pretty similar but that isn t a big deal. The only issue is the markers have already began to leak. These were unwrapped from the package not even a minute ago but three were already leaking and the orange even leaked a bit on my hand. 5Bright and easy to cleanThese markers are so much better than I expected. They are bright and easy to clean. They don't leave smudges if you mess up and have to erase. A happy birthday message made my 4 yo's birthday morning extra special. Going to try them on a mirror next... 5Awesome markersI bought these for a black dry erase calendar. They show up awesome and erase easily with slight pressure and a simple tissue. In my pictures the yellow and orange look really similar but it's just the lighting. The darker blue marker I received with the board. I'm very happy with my purchase, these were a lot less expensive than other options. Very nice!**UPDATE**I added a photo to show how these look on a white dry erase board. The left hand side is normal dry erase marker (didn't have a yellow to compare) and the right is using the neon window markers. Hope this is helpful! 5They looked quite nice, but the results were short lived, and now all but one is unusable.I had high hopes for these markers, they did show up nicely.. for a very short while. After 2 uses I noticed one of the markers pigment would separate making the words appeared to have only an outline.. After 3rd or 4th use the markers seemed to dry out, but they were still moist. Now I have used EXPO markers and the only time I have ever had something like this. I have worked with 4 or 5 markers for 3-4 months writing large amounts of information for a class on a 4' x 8' white board and they still would still be legible.I was just using this for a schedule remainders on a 1.5' x 1.5' dry erase board (black). The marker themselves still have liquid in the markers that comes out of the tips, but the liquid has little no colorant or pigment. Within 10 days I couldn't even make anything legible from any of these markers. You can still see a bit of color and the tips are moist, but there is no color being transferred.I'm not sure if these are simply faulty, or old product. But it's very a product I would not buy again based on results.I had some old EXPO's from my last class that was replaced, but still performed better these Neon ones. 1The Best *Color* Markers For Black Dry Erase BoardsWe've tried pretty much every marker available for our black/glass dry erase boards. The Loddie Doddie are the best overall markers because they're totally opaque and bright, but they're white. If you need color markers, these EXPO markers are your best option. The nice thing is they don't have to fill with paint while you write so they're the easiest to use by far. Much more like a normal marker. They're not quite 100% opaque though and the brightness is slightly lacking because of that, but they definitely work and are absolutely bright enough to read. Do not get Cedar Markers - those are awful. 5
