Great kitchen scale I bought this scale to help with the conversions from British recipe measurements to American units. It's going to make cooking recipes from the Great British Bake Off so much easier. The scale is attractive enough to leave out on the kitchen counter and has many useful functions other than simple measurements. I am very pleased with the purchase. No one gave me a discount for this purchase. This opinion. Is entirely my own. 5I Love this scale! I would absolutely recommend it! The scale works great. My favoite thing about it, is that it stays on for a while before it times out with the auto shut off. Our old scale used to drive me nuts. The mixing bowl is also very nice. When measuring multiple ingredients you can simply hit the Z/T button and add the next ingredient to the bowl. Many thanks!! 5A+ Very, very accurate scale. Will even register the weight of a single paper towel. Bowl is a a very handy size, will easily hold more than a pound of meat at one time. I have used mine every day for months now with not a single hitch. Turns off on its own after a few minutes so you are not replacing the batteries all the time if you are forgetful like I am. 5Consistent scale Works well so far. I've only been using it for a few days. It's consistent. I like that you can toggle through oz/ml/g depending on what you're weighing. The removable bowl is a nice size and I like that you can use the scale with or without the bowl. It also displays the room temperature which I was surprised by. Overall I am happy with this purchase. 5Love it Works great have started making my own bread and made my own starter for it being able to weigh the exact amount of flour and water I believe was invaluable. Looks great functions easily enough that my 3yr old likes to use she helps to bake but also likes to see how much water or milk she has in her glass. Highly recommend. Wish I would have purchased sooner. 5Never Weighs anything the same or acurate The scale never is correct on the weight. I tried to zero it out and it shows zero then I try and weigh items (butter 4 oz shows at 9.1,, a small 14 oz can of tomatoes shows at 3.77 a 4 oz yeast shows 2.25 oz and on and on.). Not sure what happened but I expect a Christmas gift to last more than 3 months. If you any suggestions please let me know. 1Excellent Scale for anything heavier than an almond Scale works good, I think the temperature is a pointless feature. Unless there's something I'm missing. The bowl is nice, I use it for pretty much everything else but the scale. Have had this for a little under a year, everything still works fine, it just will not pick up miniscule weight or light things which is a bummer. 4Love it! I've had this scale for over two weeks and use it 4x for bread and noodle making. It is the star in my kitchen and sits on my counter with the bowl inverted over the scale taking up very little space. Love that the bowl is the perfect size that can be used as a "kitchen helper". The scale is accurate. Clean lines for easy cleaning. Highly recommended. 5Very good and very functional scale that has performed admirably. I have not had a single issue with this scale. It has weighed everything that I have asked it to weigh, the tare weight is heavily used and the ability to measure in several different weights is very helpful.Since getting this scale I have converted almost everything in my recipes to grams. I can put in the ingredients one at a time, with pretty good precision, then hit the tare, move on to the next ingredient and so on. I am very happy with this scale.The timer is also a big plus. I specifically looked for one with the timer and it works just as expected. I do wish the alarm were a little louder, but then if I were in the kitchen when the alarm sounded, I would probably not say that. It is loud enough to hear in the whole apartment, but it is something that you need to listen for if you are not in the kitchen.Cleaning is easy. Just wipe with paper towel, maybe a bit of dish soap if you get really carried away with missing the bowl, but in general, just a wet paper towel and you are on your way.So far, it has accepted every bowl or plate I have put on it without issue. I haven't even noticed a difference if the ingredients are not centered. If I put a plate on the scale, measure out ingredients on the edges of the plate, when I push them all to the middle and mix them up, the weight doesn't change. I know that sounds silly, but I have had scales that didn't do so well if the ingredients were not right over the scale in the center.I would recommend this to anyone that needs a good looking (If you like the silver/stainless class hardware) and good performing scale. 5
