LOVE this Bedspread!
I spent quite literally months looking everywhere for the right bedspread to finish off our boho/retro bedroom. I found many I liked, but none were quite what I was looking for. This quilt was love at first sight! It arrived quickly in perfect condition. It came in a clear plastic bag with a zipper that could be repurposed. I washed it before putting it on the bed, and it looks just as it did when I opened it; no fading or loose threads to note. I would like to mention that it's not perfectly true to the colors in the picture. The red is more magenta/purple and the yellow slightly more orange, however I do not love it any less. It is beautiful. Our mattress and box spring together are 19 inches tall and they are on top of a frame that is a normal height. I purchased the king size for our queen size bed (my husband is a blanket-hog), and it falls about two or three inches from the floor on each side. I would definitely recommend this Bedspread. You won't be disappointed!
5Love it
Nice stitching, and the quilt is light but not thin. Perfect for most of the year. I got the twin size, and it is generously proportioned - enough so that I might be able to go without a bedskirt if I didn't use under the bed for storage. I love the colors, but the purple is more pinkish than I was expecting. There is also a lot more of the mustardy yellow color than I thought there would be. But maybe it just looks different on a smaller scale bed. Even so, I really enjoy it!
5Very Disappointed
The pictures looked great, the quality in person is not even close to a real quilt. I returned this set right away. The fabric is thin and cheap, the print looks corny to me and there were strings coming out everywhere. The shams were huge and square so they'd never fit our pillows. Hopefully some day there will be more options to buy separate shams and pillowcases to fit standard pillows with a king size bed
2Very colorful!
Great colors. I had a curtain set with colorful flowers and wanted to find a bedspread with like colors because I didn't want matchy matchy set. The colors in the photo are true to the colors in this bedspread and it is perfect. I got a queen size for a queen bed and can run the lines either head to foot or crosswise on the bed. Very nice quality. Even if my cat kneeds it, I do not see any damage if it is there. The only thing I would have preferred would have been a different coloring to the reverse but I knew when I ordered this what to expect.
5Extremely Pleased!
This quilt looks great on a king bed. The length of the quilt on each side is more than generous. And the colors are wonderful. This quilt is not extra thin or cheap looking. I am so pleased with this product. I have to admit I was worried about purchasing a quilt online. Products tend to be advertise as good quality, but sadly turn out to be lower in quality than expected. This was not the case. I am extremely pleased and plan to purchase another quilt by this same company.
5Poor quality. Don t wash it - colors fade and come unraveled. Poor quality.
Says machine washable, and it is however, upon washing for the first time - delicate/cold/light amount of Persil - colors faded and there were threads coming up in several places on both side of the quilt. I am writing this review 4 months later, as this has perpetuated and because I am disgusted over the now large amounts of frayed and pulled threading. Today I ll be going to buy a quilt from Macy s where I can look, touch, feel the quality. I shouldn t have to do this in 4 short months. Do not buy unless you hate money.
1I like it, but I don't love it...
This is a pretty quilt, perfectly weighted - heavy, warm quilt, but not definitely not too hot. My husband who is always too hot loves it, I put an extra twin blanket between the sheet and the quilt and it's perfect for cool nights. We will probably have to add more on really cold nights. I like that it's cotton - seems more breathable and soft, but I don't think it will pill when washed. The colors are a little lighter, bolder and brighter than they appear to me in the picture. I think it's more Moroccan than Southwest and a bit more teenage girls room than classic. All of that said, I like it, but I wouldn't say I love it.
4After a month of use - * Comfortable to sleep in
Immediate impressions -* Colors in the preview image are reasonably accurate to the colors of the physical product* Moderate thickness - not a thin sheet, but not a fat comforter* Large dimensions. Holy cats. Plenty of width for two people.* Soft but not too soft. After a month of use -* Comfortable to sleep in, has kept me warm so far this season without getting uncomfortably hot.* Maintenance is easy - retains its place on the bed well enough, takes much more than a stray breeze from the ceiling fan to displace it.* Machine washed cold, tumbled dry low with no noticeable loss in color, softness, or dimensions.Would recommend, at least when the outdoor temperature is above freezing. Will follow up if it's inadequate in deep winter.
5Very disappointed. Quilt had crude patch job done before being sold to me.
Very disappointed in this quilt. I have only had it a few months and it has already ripped three times. The first rip happened before I even purchased it. What I mean by that it that there was clearly a rip in fabric that happened during manufacturing that was crudely stitched back together before being sold to me. This crude "seam" busted after washing it the first time. Since then the fabric has ripped in two other places. Would not buy again. Save your money and buy somewhere else.
1Great looking and great quality!
We love this quilt. In the past we had purchased a Pottery Barn quilt at a much higher cost. The quality of this quilt is just as good if not better! I washed it in warm water on my normal cycle and it didn't seem to fade a bit. Very happy with our purchase. Thank you!
