Good for 1 use
It worked great the first time. The second time, not so great. It failed to hold pressure and was leaking. I had to open the cooker, get the gasket back to room temperature and try it again, with no luck. Lifetime of a gasket should definitely be more than 1 use. My last original Fagor gasket lasted more than 5 years.
1Perfect!
I had been looking for a replacement gasket locally for a long time with no luck. I've seen plenty of new Fagor pressure cookers, but no replacement seals. The new replacement is so wonderfully soft and flexible compared to my old one that should have been retired long ago. I truly did not realize how bad the old one was. The new one fits nicely and I am looking forward to pressure cooking without a large amount of water on my stovetop! There's a second one too, which makes it even better.

5Doesn't fit
It was supposed to fit Fagor 9 inch (4 liter) pressure cookers, but it sure didn't fit mine. I had to contact Fagor directly to get the right size.
2Beware
I have a 9-inch, 4-quart Fagor Duo pressure cooker. I have ordered replacement gaskets from Amazon before and felt confident, reading the description, that these would be like them. They're not. They're the right diameter but they're not the right thickness to seal this cooker. If you have a 4-quart Fagor Duo, don't buy these. Of course, who knows what gaskets the seller will send when you order. The ones I got look nothing like the photo in the description. Previous gaskets (including the original one) were gray, like the one in the ad. These are translucent. I've returned them.

this gasket doesn't work, it is half as thick as the original and won,'t seal, the original is rubber this is silicone, no good at all. my advise is get an original replacement from Fagor
1did not seal and hold pressure
I have Fagor 9" pressure cooker. These looked identical and seemed to fit fine, but did not seal and steam escaped the pot lid and never built up pressure inside. Came in pack of 2 and I tried both gaskets unsuccessfully.
1Does not fit Fagor 6L pressure cooker
This ring is much thinner than the Fagor 6l ring. Diameter is correct, but the reduced thickness meant it does not seal.
1Silicone gasket
The vendor was great. Package arrived on time as as advertised.I was excited to get the new silicone gasket - thought it would be better than the old rubber gasket that did not hold up over time. Found out that it works but the silicone does not provide as strong a seal as the old rubber gasket. There was steam seeping out the sides.
3Looks like the OEM product is the only answer
I guess I should have read more of the reviews before ordering, The first time we used the gasket, steam was escaping around the edges of the cover and pressure did not reach maximum as evidenced by a weak final release of steam at the valve. I replaced the new gasket with the original old Fagor and all is back to normal. Although the replacement gasket looks exactly like the OEM, it appears to be weaker.
