These are not your basic brown and black plasticThese are just what I needed for my new minimalist bathroom. I intend to add a vinyl letter to identify my shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Since mine go on tile, I used silicone to attach some shelf liner to the bottom to make them stay still while I pump.
5Stylish and FunctionalThis soap dispenser is fabulous! I use it to hold dishwashing liquid at the kitchen sink, and it holds a lot. It also looks WAY better than a plastic bottle of soap sitting there. I've gotten several compliments on it and highly recommend. As to function, I typically use one pump for hand washing and two pumps on my sponge for dish washing. Great purchase!
5I have to say--this thing is awesome! Not only does it look great with other ...I have to say--this thing is awesome! Not only does it look great with other OR Bronze fixtures, it is quite attractive on its own! Moreover, it hold 16 OZ!!!! And, as an addd bonus, it literally dispenses the PERFECT amount of soap--not too much like most dispensers! That means fewer times filling the soap dispenser, which admittedly is a chore. If you purchase large bottles of refill soap, this thing will easily pay for itself in a no time. Buy soap refills, save the planet, AND have a great dispenser??? Yes please! I am going to be buying two more for the other bathrooms in the house!
5Product as pictured, careful because the pump shoots straight forward instead of downThis product looks great and works great. The jar and pump both look and feel very sturdy, unlike some metal pump dispensers I've purchased before. The product looks exactly as described in the photos.I had originally wanted to put this on the shower ledge but upon receiving it had 2nd thoughts about putting glass in a shower. I tried to then buy a plastic bottle but keep the same pump. Unfortunately if you were thinking of doing the same thing the bottle opener is incompatible. This screw top is wider than the plastic bottle version with the same oz size.The only drawback of this bottle is that the liquid shoots straight out and not down. I now use this bottle for kitchen soap and I find I need to angle my sponge in front of the pump so I don't shoot soap onto my shirt. Despite this limitation this is a solid product, and I'm pretty sure there's no way to change the pump angle without messing with the aesthetic.
5Perfect soap dispenser!These are perfectly balanced and so smart! I purchased for the looks but after reading reviews I began to think..."Hey yeah, it is annoying when it drips back onto the bottle...Yeah, I don't like it when dispensers tip so easily!" I guess I started really thinking...I had always purchased just on looks. Well, these are just perfect! Rarely drips and when it does it does not onto bottle..balanced, great looking...quality. Purchased 2, no problems!
5Great quality pump bottle!My glass pump bottle is the best quality ever. I had a few issues, one was missing a pump at delivery however the issues were handled right away. The customer service response was excellent. I'll never use any other bottles for my liquid soaps Etc. Thanks for making such a great quality product at a great price.
5Not amber glass, but amber colored coating that can come off.This just arrived so I can't speak to durability, but because Amazon shipping put it in the same box as three cast iron parts, I found out that the glass is not amber, it is coated, and the amber coating can scrape off if you are not careful. Otherwise it looks nice and retro.
4Nice and well-made, but not bronze finish.The previous soap dispenser I had broke so I was looking for a replacement. The fixtures in my bathroom have the oil rubbed bronze finish and I wanted something to match. This item definitely doesn't match. The dispenser itself is nice. It's big and well-made. However, the finish is more of a copper color than bronze. I realize that my oil rubbed fixtures are darker than normal bronze, but this dispenser is not bronze colored. Otherwise, this is a very nice item.
4Beautiful, Useful Dispenser!Purchased this amber glass jar to dispense soap in my bathroom. I love it! It's lovely to look at and best of all FUNCTIONAL. The pump part sits up high from the bottle which makes it easier to press down without getting a lot of soap gunk around the neck of the bottle. And it dispenses just the right amount of liguid hand soap...not too little, not too much. I am thinking of ordering another to dispense hand lotion! Great product for the price.
5Pass on this one!It is sturdy and looks fine but all of a sudden, it started squirting out dark brownish black soap...the soap I filled it with is clear...making me think that the spout has deteriorated inside...I cleaned it and it is still doing the same thing...it looks very nasty and I am going to have to throw it away...BEWARE....I doubt this is an isolated problem....happened after owning it a couple of months and too late for an Amazon return.
