Attractive and Functional
I have six of these Le Creuset Round French Trivets. They are attractive and functional. I use them every day. My one wish is that Le Creuset would bring back the color Cobalt.

5Bought a second one I liked it so much
Bought a second one I liked it so much. We use these in the office for coffee pots. Works great but it did leave a white ring on the wood table so we just leave it on the glass table.

1Thicker, sturdier than other branded silicon trivets
Blends in beautifully with my Cambria Fieldstone countertop. Sturdier than my other silicon trivets that are floppier, thinner. Cost more but my countertop does not catch the heat from my cast iron pans.No doubt this will last a very long time.
5Great trivet
This is a great trivet. Since it doesn't hold water or allow steam through you won't scald your tabletop even if something was a little damp (totally happened with a cloth hot pad). It does slowly get hot so I wouldn't use it as a hot pad to grab things with, but thats what the Cool Tool is for anyway. I regularly use this under a hot stock or sauce pot when I make things ahead and then put the hot pot into my refrigerator with glass shelves.

Use this to protect our granite countertops from hot pans. Works great.

We use these when we get served hot cooked straight from the Le Creuset cooking set.
5Pretty and practical
This is the second Le Creuset trivet I have bought. Colors are beautiful though I can't imagine why different colors have different prices. These are flexible, a really effective heat and impact buffer to protect granite countertops and hot food and beverage containers. They are easy to clean--just a quick rinse under the tap. They seem to be indestructible and make a nice decorative pop of color in the kitchen or at the table.
