LeaksI have a few silicone baking products that work and clean surprisingly well. The problem I have with these rings is they leak. Initially 3 were just slightly warped, due to packaging I believe. I have tried soaking in hot water and placing a heavy item on top and was successful at straightening 1. The other 2 still leak egg. And yes I am using a flat surface. I just use the warped rings for hashbrowns. I guess you get what you pay for. They are a cute idea and design. I would prefer the diamater to be just a bit bigger. Perfect for an English muffin Also, a note re seller. I did receive a follow up email from the seller. It had a link to Amazon requesting to contact them before leaving a negative feedback. On that link the choice of preset questions were there to address my comments. None of which would have allowed me to share this info with a potential buyer.
2Great egg ringsThese work well and clean up easily. The trick to getting a good seal on the griddle or in a skillet is to make sure you heat the griddle or skillet first, put olive oil (or other vegetable oil) on the ring, then put it on the heated surface. Let it warm up, then push down with a spatula. THEN pour in your eggs. Works perfectly every time for sunny-side up with no leaks.
5a little work, but so much better than mc donalds.these are pretty non stick, but even following directions I had some leak thru, so I only gave them 4 stars. The first batch was a joke, but like all things...re read the instructions and take your time. My guys like their eggs scrambled, not just mixed, so that could cause some of the leakage. they also like both sides cooked. I found the you tube video somewhat helpful as well. these seem to clean up better than metal ones..but definitely soak them as instructed before you try to wash them. the handles fold for easy stacking, and they make a good size for either English muffins, or flip it and its a good slze for bagels...

5Exactly as ExpectedIf you spray or rub olive oil on them pre-use, or even just soak in water before washing, they are a cinch to clean. You do have to sort of press them down / let them warm up a little before cracking the egg in, which is hard to do with just two hands, but I got the hang of it . Might be easier to just mix the eggs up in a pitcher and pour them in rather than trying to crack an egg with one hand. I don't have time for a water bath to set the yoke so I just broke the yoke and swirled it around. The forms lifted off easily so then I just flipped the egg over to finish the tops. My only problem with these is I only have 4 forms and there are 5 people in my family, three of which want two eggs each :). I might need to buy another set and make 8 eggs in forms on my cast iron skillet instead of in pans...
5Useful and Satisfactory....Took a couple of eggs but what I learned was: 1. Spray them with cooking spray to reduce eggs from sticking to the sides. 2. When you put your egg inside the ring pour it slow otherwise the yolk or white will seep underneath the ring. 3. Keep your pan on medium heat.
3These are really useful. I use them for making egg sandwiches for ...These are really useful. I use them for making egg sandwiches for breakfast. The size is perfect for putting an egg on an English muffin. Instructions for use come in the package, and they say to press down for a few seconds when you put in the egg, pancake batter, etc. However, I put the ring in the pan while it's warming, then let the pan get hot enough to set the egg fairly quickly. Also, put the egg in fairly slowly so the bottom of the yolk begins to set as it spreads to fill the ring. That way, the yoke doesn't cause the ring to float up and let it run under. I find that easier than trying to hold the ring down on the pan while cracking an egg.You can flip the egg ring and all, if you want, or cover let the skillet with a lid so the egg also sets up on top, then remove the ring and turn it. Either works fine.
5The egg finally fits the bread!Awesome product. I love making fried egg sandwiches, and now my egg doesn't stick out from the roll, bun or muffin. It worked fine, I've used it several times with no problem. Heat up your pan, melt the butter, place the ring and heat it up for 30 seconds, then drop in the egg. I had no problems with the egg leaking, worked like a charm. The ring was easily removable, and cleaned just as easily - little tip - turn it inside out to clean it. I just wish I had these years ago, but I'm glad I have them now. Can't wait to try making some of the recipes which came with the e-book.
5They work great. These work great. I made one batch of 18 egg patties with them, then I ate them so fast, I made another batch of 48. I'm still working on that one.I saw some reviews complaining that the egg leaks out of them. Well, that doesn't happen at all if you crack whole eggs into them. My second batch though I did scrambled eggs (with milk), some of those did leak. Eventually I found out that you basically have to pour the eggs in slowly and quickly push the ring down wherever it starts leaking out. Once it's sealed, it stays sealed fine. I should also note that I got the pan good and hot before pouring in the eggs in all cases.Overall I'd say they work just like you'd want them too
5Good eggWorks very well for eggs. Although not much different in size, you have the option of using the small side or the large side. The handle rotates to allow use of either side. These give me a size closer to the size of an english muffin, than the smaller metal ones I used previously. I use a little butter with these in a non-stick pan and have had no problems with sticking. These are a great improvement over the metal rings as they don't scratch a non-stick pan. The only downside I can find is the price - it seems a bit high at $11.75 for a set of four. These would be a good deal at $8-10 for the set.Pros:- don't scratch a non-stick pan- a choice of two sizes from one ring- heat doesn't travel up the handleCons:- high in price (at $11.75)
