Best Decaf CoffeeI love this coffee and am so glad it is decaf. I can drink it all day long and I drink it iced with "no sugar" creamer! Yummy drink for the summer!
5You'd Never Know it's DecafMy doctor broke my heart when he told me that too much caffeine was contributing to my indigestion. As a coffee (and Keurig) lover, this was nothing but bad news. Thanks to the Amazon community and the review system, this was one of the highest rated decaf k-cups, so I took the plunge. I have to say I am ecstatic with the results of this Columbian Decaf. In my opinion, it's actually the best tasting k-cup I have had to date, beating out some of my favorites (Coffee People Kona, Coffee People Donut Shop, etc).Often when I hit the Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks for their decaf, I can immediately taste the difference. But when I am drinking this, I entirely forget that I am drinking decaf, and get to my happy place. Can't recommend it enough. This is not a super-light or watery coffee, nor is it super bold. It's a full-bodied medium roast type blend, and I think it's great.
5Another disappointmentAs I said in a review of San Fran Bay coffee, I usually drink Stash's organic tea. However, I also enjoy a cup or two of good coffee each day, too. And, thanks to my Keurig coffee maker, that "one" cup of coffee is always from the best coffee available. This Timothy's decaf was a major disappointment for me. It has a strong flavor of burned coffee, just like the San Fran pods. Even with the large quantity of milk I like in coffee, the flavor almost gives me a headache and it certainly is no pleasure for my palate. This coffee is headed to our local food pantry in the hopes that someone there will find it drinkable....but, I have my doubts!
2Great Coffee...Not Too StrongI must point out that I like a little coffee in my milk/creamer. Most coffees in restaurants and other places are just way too strong for my taste and I can't get it right no matter how much creamer I add. This coffee came in our Keurig sample pack and is unavailable in my area so I am a repeat buyer for it on Amazon. It is perfect, keeping in mind my opening statement. Everyone likes their coffee THEIR way and for me, it couldn't get any better...plus it's decafeinated which is nice. Even so, I occasionally get a caffeine jolt from it just the same, especially after my 2nd cup.
5But it doesn't taste like Decaf...We frequently have guests into our home and I love having a wide selection of coffees for people to choose from. Timothy's World Coffee, Decaf Columbian is my go-to decaf. The comment I hear most, after, "I LOVE this!" is, "Are you sure this is decaf? It doesn't taste like decaf!"When my doctor told me that I needed to give up caffeine because of reflux, I didn't know how I'd give up my coffee. And technically, I guess I'm supposed to give up coffee in general, but a little here and there I figure wouldn't hurt. The least I figured I could do was switch to a decaf coffee. The idea made me shudder because every decaf I've ever had just didn't taste like "real coffee". Then I found this decaf! I just love it. And because I love it, I probably have coffee more often than I should. However, if you're looking for a good decaf, definitely give this one a try. I think you'll enjoy it.
5Timothy's k-cups lose their seal at the top and coffee sprays all over the counter!I have tried three different types of Timothy's k-cups and couldn't figure out why the coffee was spilling out all over the counter during the brewing process. I de-scaled my machine 4 times, and then tried again, still happened. So my husband looked at it and discovered the seal of the cups (most of them) comes unglued and coffee overflows the pod holder, with coffee grounds. It makes a disaster of my machine.I am disgusted that I have $40 worth of Timothy's coffee left and cannot really use it. I will give them to my daughter and see if she has the same problem, but Emeril's Jazzed-up Decaf works great and actually tastes better.Timothy's lost my business completely, and I was an Amazon subscriber. Now it's all Emeril's, all the time.
1Delicious! :)Absolutely, hands down, the BEST cup of coffee...especially from a pod. Timothy's brand is soooo smooth and soooo delicious. Really wish these were offered in more retail stores. Love having this decaf as a late night treat, after dinner or before bed. Highly, HIGHLY recommend this brand!
5Delicious decaf!A few years ago I needed to switch from caffeinated coffee to decaf for medical/health reasons. I tried several different brands before I tried Timothys. Mist of the brands I tried were bitter or had an awful aftertaste. Not Timothy's. This coffee is the best decaf ever! I love it! Its smooth & delicious & there's no bitterness or aweful aftertaste. Its the only brand I've had that my guests say they can't tell that its decaf.
5The only true decaf I've experienced.I'm very sensitive to caffeine and have tried other decaf coffees that I've found still affected my nerves. I've experienced the least amount of caffeine effects with this coffee and it tastes great too!
5Excellent taste!Timothy's Colombian Decaffeinated K-cups are great! This coffee is medium-bodied with a rich taste. Using the automatic shipment plan, the cost per K-cup is about 40 cents.Combined with my Keurig coffeemaker (Keurig B40 Elite Gourmet Brewing System) I purchased here on Amazon, it is so quick and easy to make a mug of fresh-tasting coffee with no cleanup of any kind. All I have to do is rinse out the cup.Clearly, this is not the way to make coffee if you are serving many people; but, if you just need one or two cups of great tasting coffee, Timothy's Colombian Decaffeinated K-cups with a Keurig coffeemaker is the way to go.The Keurig B40 is $[...]at Amazon (free shipping), and I have noticed that stores that sell Keurig do not sell this excellent but inexpensive model.
