Only order from Amazon warehouse!Ordered from China. Don't make my mistake. Only order from Amazon warehouse only. Received cheap knock offs, smaller in size. 1The best I've usedGrandma here has many years of ice pops under her belt....yes literally.....I love them!! These molds are very large. They make a great adult or older child popsicle. Really too much for toddlers and maybe even some 5 yr olds. They hold twice as much as the Norpro popsicle maker I have. They have a very nice large handle and stick all molded as one piece. I have two sets and have had no problems pulling out the confection. It is true the handles become brittle when frozen and can break if dropped. Careful. The bottom mold section is made of different plastic and it holds up to the fall....so far. It comes with a nice little tray that does a great job of holding the molds up securely in the freezer and is easy to store. Its also BPA free.I would recommend these in a heartbeat. Now for some tips. I had 14 coconut waters I wanted to use up. Makes a terrific base for any flavor pop AND is full of electrolytes so you get nutrition AND a great pick me up when you feel like you're dragging. Really good for young athletes after a workout or game....100% better than Gatorade junk.I take my pops out of the mold. Put them handles and all into a large freezer bag and make a quick second batch of 12. Pop those in the freezer. Set my oven timer for two hours. When it goes off I push a wooden popsicle stick in the center of each and leave them to freeze overnight. Unmold those and make as many as you have sticks for.Strawberries, bananas, coconut milk, limes, oranges, mangos...no end to the delicious possibilities. Next I'm making blueberry coconut cream.....have a nice summer. 5Big, Quality Ice Pops. Buy the real thing!!!Wonderful ice pop molds - quality plastic, large molds, easy to use. These are durable! I like that you only need to remove the Ice pop you want as a snack. Run it under the faucet for a few seconds, wiggle it and out it comes. I had an inferior brand mold that I thought was made by Tovolo. My husband dropped the whole thing on the floor and the base cracked. I sent an email to Tovolo and Tovolo customer service sent me a replacement! Talk about customer service! They truly value their customers. As soon as I tried to put the pop molds into the Tovolo base I realized that they weren't compatible. The ones I had were small and flimsy and brittle. The Tovolo base was solid. The individual pop molds were already starting to crack along the tops. As soon as I realized I didn't have decent molds I went online and got the real Tovolo brand. Totally different from my imposters! The Tovolo molds are the real deal! There are molds that LOOK like Tovolo, but they aren't the same quality. Definitely buy Tovolo. 5Not Quite Perfect, But Better Than the Alternatives I've Been Able To FindI still wish I could make the individual triangle-shaped popsicles my mother made in aluminum molds with a rubber gasket where the wooden stick went in; she filled the mold flat, and when the popsicle was frozen she's just run a little water on the backside, wiggle the stick, and the popsicle would pop out intact. No need for drip catchers: she handed me my popsicle and a napkin at the same time, and that took care of it! So for decades I've searched for molds that make INDIVIDUAL popsicles, like those, and these (and their friends here on Amazon) are the first I've found. They do the job. They can be filled and emptied individually. They're cute. They're a LITTLE hard to remove from the mold-- plastic versus aluminum? but not too bad. They sit rather awkwardly in the freezer. They're better than anything else I've found, but they're still not as good as Mama's molds, and I'm still looking. As for the popsicles? Mama filled the molds with apricot nectar. Yum! 4GODSEND!!! I came back for moreI have literally turned popsicles into a diet. It started with making smoothies: hiding the veggies in with the fruits, adding some protein powder and voila I was well nourished with minimal effort. But I was having a hard time getting the whole of those smoothies consumed in one sitting and you know smoothies don't bare being left to sit. So, I got this bright idea to pour my smoothies into popsicle molds and consume them throughout the day as tasty frozen treats! BINGO!!! Totally works. My A1C was 6.4 at my last Endocrinologist's appointment (all type II diabetics will understand the importance of that). My point is, these molds aren't being used for the occasional treat. I am giving these things a serious workout and they standing up to the vigorous use. I'm purchasing more because I am making them for others as well as myself, now, and I need to have enough to create a rotation. 5NICE.....butFor the price a good value. Pro: bigger pops than the others, much easier to remove from molded cover. Con: the standup tray is quite space consuming, they don't need to be so far apart. The nice deep size of the ice pop also makes it harder to clean down into the mold for the next batch, use a bottle brush like baby bottle needs, if you drop a full one, the end-tab easily chips off then it doesn't stand up so well in the freezer tray. MAJOR PRO: THIS IS THE ONLY ONE YOU CAN JUST GRAB ONE TOTALLY FROZEN AND JUST RUN. AFTER ABOUT 5 MINUTES AT ROOM TEMP, YOU CAN REMOVE THE MOLD AND ENJOY THE ICE POP, THE HOLDER SNAPS FIRMLY BACK IN THE EMPTY MOLD WHEN DONE. 4Plan 2.5 cups of liquidThese are nice and secure in the base while pouring and freezing. The star shape is great for adults and toddlers since you can nibble off smaller portions of popsicle. Top rack safe in your dishwasher, but be mindful of how narrow these are. I put one in a bad spot and it unfortunately fell through a hole onto the heating element. I now have a 5 pop set.Nowhere does it state the volume. I found that 2.5 cups was enough to fill all six. These come with a recipe booklet, and some recipes call for 4 or 6 cups of fruit, plus whatever else (yogurt, water, etc). What am I supposed to do with the rest? Save it until next time? I haven't tried any of their recipes. 5Love, love, love these pop moldsI was making myself a smoothly pretty much every day. My favorite: half a frozen banana, some juice (I use Pomegranate) some Greek or vanilla yogurt, 2 tablespoons of non-fat vanilla pudding mix (adds sweetness and thickens mixture) and berries (I usually use frozen strawberries I buy at Costco). I just throw things in my Vitamix and blend away. Nine times out of ten I make too much and ended up in wasting the leftover. Then a light bulb went off in my head (it happens occasionally). I realized that I could just freeze the leftover as Popsicles. So I hopped on Amazon and found these molds. They definitely are adult sized, but that works for me. The things I like about them are 1) Once filled and the tops are snapped on, they can be nestled in between things in my freezer (upright) and I don't have to use the stand. That way I can make a pop or two and don't have to make them all the same flavor. 2) I like the fact that it has the drip cup so I don't end up in getting all messy. I found that when I get to the bottom, it's kind of hard to eat what's so close to the bottom lip, but I figured that if I gently pull on what's left, it easily moves up the stick to it's more accessible.I find, like others here, that they don't easily come out of the molds. But, if you just plop it in a bowl of hot water for about a minute, they slide right out.Next, I'm going to make a homemade frappuccino and freeze some. It's been darn hot here in Oregon, even when I first get up in the morning. I'm thinking a nice frappuccino pop instead of coffee, might just be the ticket to getting me off to a great start in the morning.Anyway, I have nothing at all negative to say about these molds. I'm probably going to buy a second set so that I can have more variety in my freezer. 5Fake pop molds!I previously purchased 3 sets of these and the latest purchase was a cheap knock off. They came in an unbranded brown envelope, are smaller than my first ones, do not make ridge design on the frozen pops and who know if they are bpa free? I returned them and now have to see who is selling the real deal, because I like them.Update. Back in business, got the yellow ones and they are the original product. I need to stick with Amazon as seller rather than save a couple of bucks. My recipe for Black Forrest crunch bars. Blend a large bag of defrosted cherries, 2 very ripe bananas, 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa, add packets of stevia sweetener to taste (I use 6). Fill molds half way and push 2 chocolate covered pretzels, end to end into the mix. Fill the rest of the way and freeze. Tip... Air bubbles created during blending, will increase the chance of your treats breaking upon removal. Let your mix rest before setting in the freezer. Enjoy. 1Suspicious Packaging! The package I received was an unmarked package directly from China. Upon opening, the box has no brand name, and misspellings in the copy on the side. I Google-seached Tovolo packaging and found images of their packaging that does display their name and logo. I will be returning these as they seem to be a knock-off version, and I can't be sure they are BPA-free. 1
